Years ago when I attended school at Columbia College Chicago I spent a lot of time across the street in Grant Park. It became a place of calm and solace for me, especially when Lake Michigan or Buckingham Fountain were in my view.
Today I rode my bike to the lakefront and visited the fountain. While wandering around the area I also happened upon a handful of precious geese nibbling on fresh green grass adjacent to the landmark. One goose in particular seemed unbelievably comfortable around me; I had the feeling we’d met somewhere before. I don’t mind admitting it, the bird made my heart flutter.

What a beautifully clear, sunny Chicago day. The colors are beautiful. I really like the sprays of water and how it trickles down the sea serpent (?) in the second picture and those beautiful, brown goose eyes. Great work.
